Aug 31, 2023 (newstodate): According to a list of investment projects by China's Belt and Road Initiative 2023, a cargo handling company at Riga Airport is seeking a potential new owner.
Declaring itself willing to set its business up for acquisition, Aviation Cargo Transit Services, ACTS, has put an indicative price tag at 11 mio USD for the company.
The privately-owned cargo handling company at Riga International Airport controls a total of 10,000 m2 of infrastructure, including a 4-storey office building, a fully certified warehouse, two parking areas, transport dispatch area, and space for expanding with an additional cargo terminal.
ACTS is the official cargo handling agent for Turkish Airlines and
Uzbekistan Airways at Riga Airport, with a track record among other players in the logistics industry including like TNT, FedEx and others.
Additionally, ACTS had the privilege of being an approved
cargo handling agent in crucial NATO cargo programs since 2016.
Owner and Chairman of the Board of ACTS, Victor Shatsky, has not responded to repeated calls by newstodate seeking a comment to the information above.
