Aug 14, 2023 (newstodate): Air Serbia seems to be happy with its route connecting Belgrade and Gothenburg, in Sweden, the carrier's fourth route to Scandinavia.
As a novelty, seasonal flights between Belgrade and Gothenburg were included in this year's summer schedule, with the first rotation on May 18, 2023, and offering three weekly rotations on the route.
However, Air Serbia has now decided to stay on the route during the coming winter schedule, with the frequency yet to be communicated.
The new route opening from Belgrade marked the return by Air Serbia to Gothenburg that was on the route map of Air Serbia's predecessor, JAT, until 2013.
In Scandinavia, Air Serbia is also operating flights to Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo, all handled by Avia Airport Alliance under a contract renewed in May 2021.
