Jul 28, 2023 (newstodate): The indomitable Ukrainian carrier SkyUp Airlines is preparing for even more business in the market for Egyptian tourism.
   The carrier is thus to set up a dedicated operational base at Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada to serve the expected boom in charter traffic during the coming winter season from October 2023 to April 2024.
   To support these plans, SkyUp Airlines is now approaching tour operators as well as airlines concerning charter contracts and ACMI/wet-lease contracts for its fleet totaling 10 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
   Employing some 1,200 staff, SkyUp Airlines has been performing charter programs for Join UP! Baltics from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia to Egypt, as well as charter flights for Join UP! Ukraine from Poland to Egypt.
