Jul 31, 2023 (newstodate): New market on the map of Lufthansa Cargo's European short-haul freighter network is Armenia.
   With the first operation on July 30, 2023, Lufthansa Cargo has launched flights connecting Frankfurt and Yerevan, Armenia, with an Airbus A321F providing one weekly rotation on the route.
   By the start of this month, Lufthansa Cargo entered its third Airbus A321F aircraft into commercial service after its conversion to freighter aircraft in Singapore.
   Lufthansa Cargo performed its first A321F revenue flight on March 15, 2022, and the carrier plans to have a total of four A321 converted freighters by the end of this summer.
   Copenhagen Airport was on the European short-haul freighter network in June 2023 as a weekly trial service between Frankfurt and Copenhagen, monitoring the market response.
   For a brief period, some test flights were also performed with the Airbus A321F on the routing Frankfurt-Liege-Riga-Copenhagen-Frankfurt, but it now remains to be seen if Lufthansa Cargo will add scheduled services between Frankfurt and Copenhagen to its regular European short-haul freighter network.
