Jul 31, 2023 (newstodate): Competitor to Ukraine's state-owned postal service, the private Ukrainian postal and courier company Nova Poshta is seeing success with its parcel flights between Riga Airport in Latvia and Rzeszow in Poland.
   Rzeszow is close to the border with Ukraine, allowing for fast trucking of parcel shipments to recipients in Ukraine.
   The flight operations are performed by the new Ukrainian carrier Supernova with one ATR72 converted freighter on an ACMI contract with the Latvian carrier RAF-AVIA.
   The operation was launched in May 2023, and so far a total of 250,000 international parcels, notably e-trade shipments, have been transported on 14 flights during the first two months of the operation.
