Jun 15, 2023 (newstodate): Having lost its key contract with tour operator Apollo, the Swedish charter carrier Novair is still in the air but facing a bleak future.
   Novair's production is paid by Apollo till the end of October 2023, busily operating flights in this summer's schedule for Apollo, and also for Bravo Tours albeit on a smaller scale, but so far there is no light at the end of the tunnel after this.
   -Novair is in a strong financial situation with no debts, a sound cash balance, and a secured income till the end of October - all enabling us to secure profitable retirement plans for our employees. All staff and aircraft lessor have been fully informed of the situation, and all costs are covered, the airline's owner since April 2021, Danish investor Lars Thuesen, told newstodate in March 2023.
    Efforts are still being made for seeking openings to keep the airline active, but Novair remains planning for closing down all activities after the end of the summer schedule.
