Jun 20, 2023 (newstodate): As the only Scandinavian airport, Stockholm Arlanda is now again on the route map of the Tunisian carrier Nouvelair.  
   With the launch flight on June 19, 2023, Nouvelair is offering one weekly rotation between Tunis and Stockholm with Airbus A320.
   Starting out modestly, the carrier intends to add more frequencies as the market grows, and plans are also to secure year-round, rather than only seasonal services, turning Stockholm into the carrier's first Scandinavian gateway.
    Earlier, Nouvelair added both Copenhagen and Stockholm to its route map in summer 2018, and starting from March 31, 2017, the carrier was operating a triangular route from Monastir to Copenhagen, continuing to Stockholm before returning home again to Monastir.
   However, flights by Nouvelair to Scandinavia were discontinued as the pandemic struck.
