Jun 28, 2023 (newstodate): With the Luxembourg-based investment company CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII as new majority shareholder, the Danish logistics company Scan Global Logistics is flexing its  muscles for dynamic growth and expansion.
   A key driver in this process is the formation of a new Board, headed by the Danish industrial giant Nils Smedegaard Andersen, former CEO of Carlsberg and A.P. Moller - Maersk, in the seat of Chairman of the Board.
   SGL is now in the process of appointing Board members, and has today announced its first big catch: Thomas Nieszner, former CEO of DHL Global Forwarding Europe/CEE, EMEA, and latest as Global CEO of DHL Global Forward - and a total of almost 20 years with DHL after seven years with Danzas.
   Recently expanding its presence in the African markets, SGL is today staffed with more than 3,300 employees offering a full suite of end-to-end services from over 150 locations in 45 countries.
