Jun 27, 2023 (newstodate): Again in summer 2023, Carpatair, a privately-owned Romanian-Swiss regional airline based in Timisoara, is a capacity provider for the Latvian carrier airBaltic.
   Carpatair is placing two Airbus A319 aircraft on a wet-lease contract with airBaltic for operations during the summer '23 schedule, with the first aircraft delivered already in April 2023 and the second aircraft commencing operations from June 28.
   For years, Carpatair has been a steady capacity provider for airBaltic starting already from 2010 with two Fokker 70 aircraft, and in summer 2022, airBaltic was operating one Airbus A319 and one Fokker 100 provided by Carpatair
