Jun 06, 2023 (newstodate): Lufthansa Cargo has rather silently started freighter flights between Frankfurt and Copenhagen Airport by the start of this month.
   The company now confirms that flights have indeed commenced - but so far in a test phase only.
   -I can confirm that Lufthansa Cargo has been and is currently performing test flights to Copenhagen, says Katharina Wambach, Lufthansa Cargo AG Senior Manager Communications, in a response to newstodate.  
   -At the moment, we are evaluating options to extend our Airbus A321 freighter network. Updates on changes within our A321F flight plan will be communicated once they are confirmed from all involved stakeholders.
   According to industry sources, the program in this initial test phase will comprise a weekly rotation through June '23, followed by an assessment of potentials prior to a final decision on the route later this summer.
