Jun 15, 2023 (newstodate): Poland is an increasingly important market for Finnair that plans to boost its services between Helsinki and Polish destinations in the summer 2024 schedule.
Finnair will thus launch services to a new - and fourth - destination in Poland, Wroclaw, from the start of summer '24.
Known as Poland's "Silicon Valley", Wroclaw is a base for several large companies originating from Finland and Asia, and Finnair expects to benefit from Asian traffic to Wroclaw via its hub at Helsinki.
In summer '23, Finnair is also to return services to Gdansk that was first put on the airline's route map in April 2007, having since been on/off the monitors.
Finnair is also to increase frequencies on the route from Helsinki to Cracow that has been served since spring 2006, also with suspensions along the road.
Warsaw has been a persistent destination on Finnair's route network, now served with three daily year-round rotations.
