Jun 14, 2023 (newstodate): Close, but (still) no cigar: the launch of operation of the Faroese carrier FarCargo will still see some delay..
   Fargo's Boeing 757-200F aircraft purchased from AirSale has received its Swedish registration, leaving the paint shop in FarCargo's livery at Taikoo Xiamen Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd on June 10, 2023, awaiting final delivery.
   According to insider information, this process is however running behind schedule on the seller's side, and the official take-over will consequently be somewhat delayed.
   FarCargo is part of the Bakkafrost Group, FarCargo will fly Bakkafrost's salmon exports to New York Newark Airport, returning with US exports via a Danish airport, and next taking Faroese import shipments back to Vagar Airport.
