Jun 09, 2023 (newstodate): Member of the Avia Solutions Group, the Lithuanian carrier KlasJet has secured a long-term wet-lease contract with the Egyptian LCC FlyEgypt.
   Following on a two-month contract between the parties, FlyEgypt is now to operate one Boeing 737 aircraft on a 12-month wet-lease contract.
   The aircraft will be based at Hurghada International Airport - one of FlyEgypt's three main hubs - to operate flights to FlyEgypt destinations across Europe.
   Launched in 2015, FlyEgypt operates a growing domestic and regional network, alongside charter operations to around 80 European cities.
    KlasJet was set up by Avia Solutions Group in November 2013, and obtained its AOC in late June 2014, initially focussing on VIP passenger charters and later developing into the passenger and cargo charter ACMI markets.
