Jun 21, 2023 (newstodate): Budapest Airport is rightly proud of its success in attracting Chinese cargo traffic, and is now adding one more Chinese destination: Ningbo in Eastern China.
   Serving the new route connecting Budapest and Ningbo is the Chinese carrier Shanghai Airlines, with two weekly rotations with Boeing 787 aircraft.
   With this new route opening, Budapest Airport now has four non-stop connections to Chinese destinations: Beijing, Chongqing, Ningbo and Shanghai, and the new route, alongside raised frequencies, will mean Budapest will offer 10 weekly services to China in summer '23.
   Besides opening the new route to Ningbo, Shanghai Airlines has also decided to increase frequency on its existing route from Shanghai from three to five weekly rotations starting from the end of June '23.
