May 15, 2023 (newstodate): This summer, United Airlines is operating flights to two Nordic destinations: Iceland and Sweden.
In the air now are flights from Chicago to Keflavik, in Iceland, with daily services till the end of September 2023.
The route has been on the carrier's schedules since 2018 - albeit suspended from the start of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Earlier also planning for flights to Iceland from New York Newark Airport with one daily rotation starting from May 12, 2023, with Boeing 757-200 aircraft, the carrier later took the flight off its schedule.
And starting from May 27, 2023, United is adding flights from Chicago to Stockholm, in Sweden, also with daily services.
Stockholm was also on the agenda in 2022, when United Airlines decided to return to Stockholm with the first flight on May 14, 2022, offering daily rotations from New York Newark Airport with Boeing 757-200 aircraft. However, the carrier later scrapped this plan.
Both routes are served with Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
