May 24, 2023 (newstodate): The Danish logistics company Scan Global Logistics is now seeing its future with the Luxembourg-based investment company CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII as new majority shareholder.
   The regulatory approval and specific financing conditions having been scrutinized, the transaction has now closed, receiving all relevant regulatory approvals from authorities.
   At the same time, Scan Global Logistics is establishing a new Board announcing the appointment of the first board member: Danish industrial giant Nils Smedegaard Andersen, former CEO of Carlsberg and A.P. Moller - Maersk, who takes the seat as Chairman of the Board.
   Today staffed with more than 3,300 employees, SGL offers a full suite of end-to-end services from over 150 locations in 45 countries.
