May 03, 2023 (newstodate): Hot on the heels of yesterday's news from SAS on the opening of flights from Copenhagen to Bangkok comes today's news from Norse Atlantic Airways about flights to Bangkok from Oslo.
   Norse is thus opening flights on its first Asian route from Oslo to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport starting from November 2, 2023, with two weekly rotations with Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
   The new flight follow after only few days after SAS' launch of flights from Copenhagen to Bangkok starting from October 31, 2023, offering three weekly rotations with Airbus A350 aircraft.
   Thai started operating flights to Oslo from June 15, 2009, but suspended all Scandinavian services from April 1, 2020, as the Covid-19 pandemic deepened.
   While flights to Copenhagen and Stockholm have been reinstated, Oslo is still not on the carrier's timetable.
