May 31, 2023 (newstodate): Oslo Airport is to see not just one, but two Korean carriers bringing in Korean tourist in summer '23.
With the opening flight on May 11, 2023, the South Korean hybrid carrier Air Premia is already operating one weekly rotation till August 17, 2023, between Seoul Incheon Airport and Oslo Airport with a Boeing 787-9 aircraft - the first direct passenger service between the two countries after the outbreak of corona in 2019.
But starting from July 11 and till August 8, 2023, Korean Air is following suit with five rotations on the route between Seoul and Oslo, also operating with Boeing 787-90 aircraft for the Korean travel agency KAL Tours.
Korean Air's seasonal flights between Seoul Incheon Airport and Oslo Gardermoen Airport were first launched in 2013 for two Korean travel companies as the first call by the Korean carrier to Norway with passenger flights.
On the cargo side, Korean Air has been online with scheduled freighter flights since March 9, 2004, today operating two weekly freighter flights from Oslo using Boeing 777F aircraft.
