May 24, 2023 (newstodate): The new Estonian carrier Marabu has contracted the Danish maintenance provider Northern Aerotech for line maintenance at Hamburg Airport - a new station in the maintenance company's network.
In February 2023, the Estonian airline Nordic Aviation Group signed a long-term service agreement with Marabu to support its launch of operations in the German market.
Under the contract, NAG allocates three Airbus A320neo aircraft to Marabu at bases in Hamburg and Munich, operating on an ACMI basis for flights to leisure destinations along the Mediterranean Sea, the Canaries and the Red Sea.
In March 2022, Northern Aerotech found a new owner: the US-based MRO provider FEAM Aero that acquired the EASA Part 145 certified Northern Aerotech from its founder and CEO, Morten Schalls Jorgensen as part of its strategy to grow its line station network in Europe by the acquisition of the six Northern Aerotech line stations.
