May 31, 2023 (newstodate): Swissport has secured the extension of its long-time cargo handling contract with KLM/AF Cargo at Helsinki Airport.
   The two partners have been cooperating at Helsinki Airport since 2014 when Swissport took over Servisair's 4,000 sq m cargo terminal.
   Since April 19, 2018, Swissport Cargo Services has been operating at two premises at Finland's Helsinki Airport, with the second location in part of the former Finnair Cargo terminal, next to the ASR Cargo Center.    
   The first Swissport Cargo terminal at Helsinki Airport has been dedicated to exports, while the second facility provides handling of import shipments.
   Since 2019, Swissport has also been contracted by Finnair for management of Finnair's COOL Nordic Cargo Hub, last extended to run till 2026.
