May 15, 203 (newstodate) Icelandair is now online on its latest new route - and its first to the Middle East: Israel.
   Starting from May 10, 2023, Icelandair is operating three weekly rotations on the route between Keflavik and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport, using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
   Besides aiming at increasing the tourist traffic between the two countries, the new route is also set up to attract Transatlantic interest, offering US travelers the option of flying from one of the carrier's 15 US destinations to Israel via a transit stop in Iceland.
