May 17, 2023 (newstodate): Today, the Latvian carrier airBaltic is returning seasonal flights on two routes to the Caucasus region.
Flights are thus resumed on the "new" route from Riga to Yerevan, in Armenia, as well as to Baku, in Azerbaijan, in Azerbaijan.
airBaltic first launched flights to Yerevan from April 17, 2008, and to Baku from May 3, 2016, in both cases with Boeing 737 aircraft.
Also on the Caucasian route map of airBaltic are flights to Tbilisi, in Georgia, first opened on May 3, 2006, and reinstated from March 28, 2021.
