May 16, 2023 (newstodate): Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group exited 2022 with a sound financial result, doubling revenues and improving on all financial parameters.
The Group also saw a strong expansion in its aircraft fleet, with the introduction of 78 aircraft through the year.
By the end of 2022, the Group’s aircraft fleet thus consisted of 173 aircraft, including 136 passenger aircraft, and 37 freighter aircraft.
In 2022, 96 percent of Avia Solutions Group’s revenue was generated by operations in Western Europe (81 percent), Asia (10 percent), and North America (five percent).
Of special importance for ASG is the US market with currently four offices; on the other hand, ASG retreated in 2022 from the Russian market that generated only some three percent of the revenues, while activities in the Chinese market were also scaled down, generating only 0.5 percent.
