Apr 14, 2023 (newstodate): Estonia's Tallinn Airport saw cargo volumes down by 17.3 percent, y-o-y, in March 2023.
A total of 819 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled during the month, bring the Q1/23 totals to 2,148 tonnes, which is also 22.3 percent down on last year.
However, the downward trend seems to be easing as the year opens after January saw volumes down 21.2 percent and February ended with a drop by 28.6 percent, y-o-y.
In March 2023, 716 tonnes were air cargo shipments, increasing 29.5 percent compared to February '23, while mail volumes at 103 tonnes also increased by 18.4 percent, month-on-month.
