Apr 28, 2023 (newstodate): Now it's been confirmed: SAS is to go year-round on the route from Copenhagen Airport to Tokyo Haneda Airport.
   This decision fits nicely with the expansion, announced earlier this week, of the carrier's code-share agreement with ANA to cover also ANA's routes to Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka and Sapporo.
   Entering the route to Tokyo Haneda from March 12, 2023, SAS increased to four weekly rotations till April 18, scaling down to two rotations till April 25, before eventually landing at a daily rotation from June 1 till September 30, 2023.
   All flights are operating with significantly extended flying time over the North Pole to avoid flights through Russian airspace.
