Apr 25, 2023 (newstodate): Since the launch of its aggression against Ukraine, Russia has become less inclined to present regular air cargo statistics.
   However, the Aeroflot Group including Aeroflot Airlines, Rossiya and Pobeda, transported a total of 17,684 tonnes of cargo and mail in Q1/2023, an increase by 43.6 percent, y-o-y.
   Aeroflot Airlines alone generated 11,371 tonnes of cargo and mail in March 2023, up no less than 92.2 percent, y-o-y.

   For reference: In Q1/2021, cargo carried on Russian airlines saw a significant increase in volumes to a total of 120,222 tonnes, up 19.1 percent, y-o-y.
    Aeroflot alone lifted 13,986 tonnes, down 16.4 percent, y-o-y, as the carrier had then divested itself of its freighter fleet.
