Apr 17, 2023 (newstodate): Africa's leading airline Ethiopian Airlines sees no problem with continuing its air services to Russia.
Starting from June 1, 2023, the carrier will even increase its frequency to four weekly rotations between Addis Abeba and Moscow Domodedovo Airport using Boeing 787 aircraft on the route.
Ethiopian Airlines is thus one of three Star Alliance member airlines continuing to operate flights to Russia despite the sanctions regime imposed by western and other countries.
Ethiopian Airlines returned flights to Moscow in December 2018 after having earlier operated services until May 1991.
