Apr 12, 2023 (newstodate): The Danish logistics group Scan Global Logistics has now settled in one new market: Romania.
   SGL has thus opened its first fully-owned office in Bucharest, Romania, seeing the country as an upcoming logistics hub for Eastern Europe.
   The new strategic location is part of SGL's ambitious growth strategy and will help strengthen its position in the Balkan region, notably in Bulgaria and Moldova, by leveraging its existing locations in Hungary and the Czech Republic.
   The opening of the office in Romania is also the company's first announcement since the entry of its new financial majority shareholder, the Luxembourg-based investment company CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII that acquired the stake from an investor group led by AEA Investors Small Business Private Equity.
   Managing the new office in Romania is Adrian Pali, appointed  Managing Director Romania, leading an initial staff of 20 people.
