Mar 24, 2023 (newstodate): Montenegro’s fully state-owned national carrier, Air Montenegro, is targeting the three Baltic markets for new seasonal services in summer '23.
The carrier has announced plans for opening flights from Tivat to Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius from May '23, with two weekly rotations till end of October.
Air Montenegro will thus be competing with Latvia's airBaltic that is also opening flights from Riga to Tivat by May 4, 2023.
Earlier, Air Montenegro published the opening of flights from Tivat to Copenhagen Airport with two weekly rotations during S'23.
The fleet of Air Montenegro that launched operations in June 2021 comprises two Embraer 195 aircraft transferred from Montenegro Airlines that suspended all flights from December 26, 2020, entering bankruptcy.
