Mar 08, 2023 (newstodate): Like most airlines round the world, the Lithuanian charter and ACMI carrier Heston Airlines is looking into a future with scarcity of aircraft crews.
In 2023, Heston Airlines plans to grow the fleet by 60 percent with new deliveries of four or five Airbus A320 aircraft, leading to further pressure on hiring of more cockpit crews.
To ease the pressure on its organization, the carrier has now entered a partnership with AeroProfessional to strengthen its crew hiring by alleviating the demanding administrative processes.
Founded in 2006, AeroProfessional specializes in developing and delivering high-impact people strategies and resourcing solutions in aviation, supporting both high and low volume headcounts across either short or long-term demand.
Set up in 2020 and landing its AOC on May 21, 2021, Heston Airlines based at Vilnius Airport and with Jonas Rinkauskas as its CEO, today operates a fleet comprising six Airbus A320 and three Airbus A330 aircraft.
In addition, the company is also in the process of establishing a subsidiary in Malta as part of a new business venture.
