Mar 24, 2023 (newstodate): Icelandair has renewed its long-standing contract with Aviator Airport Services for another three years.
Aviator is thus to continue supporting the Icelandic carrier with a full package of ground handling services including passenger and ramp handling, and de-icing for Icelandair's 25 monthly flights from Helsinki to Reykjavik.
Starting from April 2, 2022, Icelandair returned services on the route between Keflavik and Helsinki Airport with up to seven weekly rotations during the summer period after suspending flights on the route since September 27, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two partners have been cooperating at Helsinki Airport since 2014, while Icelandair has been online at Helsinki Airport since 2004 and was earlier contracting the Latvian handling company Havas Europe for handling services.
