Mar 14, 2023 (newstodate): Cargo at Copenhagen Airport in February '23: no cause for jubilation..
A total of 20,049 tonnes of cargo by legacy and integrator carriers combined: this was a drop by 15.3 percent, y-o-y.
While volumes on legacy carriers - 12,981 tonnes - were still down by 18.7 percent, y-o-y, loads handled by integrators, 7,068 tonnes, were also down by eight percent, which is an unusual feature at Copenhagen Airport where integrators have been rising in volumes even during times of crisis.
Legacy carriers' cargo is mainly carried as belly cargo loads that dropped 25 percent in February '23.
In January-February, Copenhagen Airport has handled a total of 41,474 tonnes which is a decline by 15 percent, compared to same period in 2022.
