Mar 29, 2023 (newstodate): Delta Air Lines is now plying the skies between New York and Keflavik Airport, Iceland.  
   The first flight in this year's seasonal flights program lifted off on March 25, and services with Boeing 757 aircraft will be provided with daily rotations till October 28, 2023.
   As a novelty, Delta will also call at Keflavik with another four weekly rotations from Detroit starting from May 15, 2023.
   Delta Air Lines has been online at Keflavik Airport with seasonal flights since 2011, and was also operating up to 14 weekly rotations between Iceland and New York, Minneapolis in summer 2022.
   Delta Air Lines will be competing head-on with Icelandair on both routes to New York and Detroit.
