This year's New Year holidays, January 21-27, were no exception and marked by the enthusiasm over the first post-covid event.
Catering to the market, Chinese airlines transported nine million passengers, an increase by 79.8 percent over 2022.
The average passenger load factor on flights in the seven-day holiday reached 76 percent, 20 percentage-points higher than that in 2022; a total of 83,844 flights were operated with an average of 11,977 flights per day, an increase of 33.6 percent, y-o-y; and the flight regularity reached 98.2 percent, up by 1.1 percentage-points from 2022.
