Feb 28, 2023 (newstodate): The Norwegian long-haul LCC Norse Atlantic Airways is again spreading its wings, now going up to seven destinations served in the USA from London Gatwick Airport.
New to come are flights from Gatwick to Washington DC from June 1, to Los Angeles from June 30, to San Francisco from July 1, and to Boston from September 2, 2023, totaling 18 weekly rotations with five aircraft based at Gatwick.
The carrier is already offering flights from Gatwick to New York launched on August 12, 2022, and has announced flights to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale starting from May 25, 2023.
Founded in February 2021, Norse Atlantic Airways performed its inaugural flight on June 14, 2022, from Oslo Airport to New York JFK and operates a fleet comprising 15 Boeing 787 aircraft, five of which are now on wet-lease contracts with other operators.
