Feb 23, 2023 (newstodate): Royal Jordanian is soon to open flights to its second destination in Scandinavia: Stockholm Airport, marking its return to the Swedish market.
Starting May 29, 2023, Royal Jordanian will introduce flights between Amman and Stockholm with two weekly rotations using Airbus A319 aircraft.
Royal Jordanian last served Stockholm Airport in 2017 and 2018 with a route from Aqaba.
The opening of the route was augured by during the Swedish royal visit to Jordan, where Jordan and Sweden agreed on the opening of a Jordanian Embassy in Stockholm, and an agreement was signed opening up for Royal Jordanian to launch services between Amman and Stockholm.
In Denmark, Royal Jordanian is back with scheduled services since March 27, 2022, with three weekly Airbus A319 flights from Amman.
The carrier was operating on the route till March 2020 when Covid-19 suspensions were enforced.
