Feb 21, 2023 (newstodate): The Nordic ground handling company Aviator Airport Alliance has secured a long-term contract with the Lufthansa Group at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
   The two parties have signed a five-year contract comprising ground handling and de-icing services of the Lufthansa Group airlines including Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Swiss International Air Lines, and Austrian Airlines.
   The contract takes effect from May 2023 and is estimated to comprise the handling of some 111 turnarounds per week.
   Another Lufthansa Group subsidiary, Eurowings selected Aviator for ground handling and de-icing services for its flights from Stockholm to 12 European destinations already from March 27, 2022.    
   In February 2019, Aviator also won a similar contract with the Lufthansa Group for handling of its airlines at Copenhagen Airport.
   Member of Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group since February 2020, Aviator Airport Alliance provides a full package of aviation services in the Nordic region, including 11 airports in Norway, three airports in Sweden, and one in Denmark and Finland
