Dec 14, 2023 (newstodate): The Dutch regional aircraft lessor TrueNoord has completed the acquisition of no less than 11 aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital.
   The purchase comprises four Dash 8-400, three E175 and four E190 aircraft, increasing TrueNoord’s fleet of new and young in-production turboprop and regional jet aircraft to 87 units.
   The integration of all 11 aircraft is targeted to be completed during Q1/2024.
   The sales agreement marks the second sizable transaction between the two lessors, following TrueNoord’s acquisition announced in January 2023 of eight Embraer E190 and two E175, taking TrueNoord's fleet portfolio to a total of 70 aircraft.
   As part of its reconstruction completed in 2022, NAC is slimming its fleet to 390 owned and on-order aircraft, from 480 aircraft plus commitments for another 71 aircraft, totaling 561 units by the end of 2021.
