Dec 01, 2023 (newstodate): The cargo airline Suparna Airlines, in China named Jinpeng, has launched flights with Boeing 747-400F on a new regular cargo route between China and Russia.
The opening flight delivering 100 tonnes of air cargo from China was performed on November 29, 2023, marking the first scheduled freighter service at Moscow's new, fourth airport, Ramenskoye Zhukovsky Airport as well as the carrier's first scheduled freighter service to Russia.
-In the context of actions taken by unfriendly states aimed at creating difficulties in meeting Russia’s transport needs, the emergence of a new regular cargo carrier is an important step designed to help expand the partnership of our countries and marks the opening of a new air artery between Russia and China, Dmitry Solodilin, ZIA CARGO JSC General Director, told Russian media.
The new China-Russia freighter service aims at the supply of vehicles, technical equipment, electronic products, clothing and a wide range of consumer goods.
