Dec 15, 2023 (newstodate): Measured in total cargo volumes handled in January-November '23, Copenhagen Airport ranked #1 in the Nordic markets.
The airport thus handled a total of 259,583 tonnes of cargo; this was however still 6.4 percent down, y-o-y. But in November '23 alone, the airport saw volumes up by 13 percent.
Finland's Helsinki Airport ranked #2 in total volumes at 157,142 tonnes, which was only 0.2 percent up, y-o-y. November-volumes, however, increased by 15.9 percent, y-o-y.
#3 was Oslo Airport with one percent increase in Jan-Nov '23, to 154.957 tonnes - and an increase by 11 percent y-o-y in November alone.
#4 was Sweden's Stockholm Airport with 83,532 tonnes handled, which was down 12.4 percent, y-o-y, in Jan-Nov, while November alone was also down 3.4 percent.
*It should be noted that Copenhagen and Helsinki include both flown and trucked cargo, while Oslo and Stockholm count only flown cargo in their cargo statistics.
