Nov 24, 2023 (newstodate): Already acknowledged for its ability to think outside the box, the Hungarian LCC Wizz Air has again taken the markets by surprise..
   First revealed by Budflyer’s recent Facebook post, Wizz Air’s Maltese subsidiary has obtained a license from the Italian National Civil Aviation Organization granting the carrier to operate up to seven weekly flights between Italy and India.
   The license is however so far limited to this winter season, leaving Wizz Air with the issue of having to operate the planned route with an en-route stop due to lack of long-range aircraft capacity.
   Wizz Air has placed orders for 47 Airbus A321XLR aircraft that will not, however, start deliveries in time for opening the route.
