Nov 22, 2023 (newstodate): The Norwegian low-cost carrier Norse Atlantic Airways is adding external expertise to plot its course forward.
Norse Atlantic Airways has appointed Seabury Securities, U.K. as its strategic advisor to explore and guide the Nordic low-cost long-haul carrier’s future routes and destinations.
-The aim of this appointment is to strengthen our position in the market and enhance our strategic initiatives to meet the evolving landscape within the aviation industry, the carrier said in a recent filing.
The driver behind the decision to call in Seabury Securities is the interest in Norse Atlantic expressed by two yet-unidentified airlines seeking to explore industrial opportunities with the company.
With the first flight on June 14, 2022, Norse today operates a fleet of 15 Boeing 787 aircraft serving destinations including New York, Los Angeles, Orlando, Boston, Washington, Boston, Jamaica, Barbados, Bangkok, Miami, Oslo, London, Berlin, Rome and Paris.
