Nov 20, 2023 (newstodate): Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group is taking its next step toward realizing its ambition of operating five airlines in the Asia-Pacific Region by the end of 2024.
   Last week, Avia Solutions Group's Thailand office thus submitted the first documents package for obtaining an AOC for the launch of BBN Airlines Thailand, its coming new Thai carrier to offer charter and ACMI services in the cargo and passenger markets.
   Another step in the strategy was reached only on August 31, 2023, as ASG obtained an Indonesian AOC allowing it to launch BBN Airlines Indonesia, initially operating a fleet consisting of two Boeing 737-800F specializing in air freight services.  
   In November 2023, BBN Airlines Indonesia added one B737-400SF and three B737-800NG aircraft, planning to be operating a fleet of nine aircraft for cargo and passenger services before the end of this year.
   The four new aircraft will now undergo a redelivery check at FL Technics Indonesia before entering commercial service by the beginning of 2024.
