Nov 27, 2023 (newstodate): The Latvian charter and ACMI carrier RAF-Avia is to position its SAAB 340QC aircraft at an airport in Southern Europe.
   The carrier has entered a cooperation with Zela Aviation that will promote the availability SAAB 340 QC aircraft for ACMI and charter flights operations.
   The cooperation will take effect from April 1, 2024.
   With Matthew Pascoe as General Manager, Zela Aviation was established in 2006 to provide aircraft  leasing, chartering and aircraft sales with offices in Cyprus, Greece and the United Kingdom.
   Zela Aviation is also no newcomer in the Baltic markets, having earlier been contracted by airBaltic from December 1, 2014, to take responsibility for sale and marketing of airBaltic's ACMI and full-charter services outside its home market, Latvia.
