Nov 13, 2023 (newstodate): In 2023, Copenhagen Airport is seeing growth in cargo volumes returning in 2023.
The airport thus saw its total cargo volumes down by 8.5 percent, y-o-y, in the first 10 months of this year, loads on legacy and integrator carriers combined totaling 230,926 tonnes.
In the first nine months, the y-o-y decline was still 9.1 percent; in January-August volumes were trailing 9.5 percent behind 2022, and in H1/23 the decline was 15.5 percent, y-o-y.
In October 2023 alone, total loads on legacy and integrator carriers were only down 3.6 percent, y-o-y, to 25,423 tonnes, indicating an accelerating rebound in volumes in 2023.
