Nov 21, 2023 (newstodate): The Lithuanian charter and ACMI carrier KlasJet is playing a pivotal role in getting the African airline Congo Airways back in the air.
   The state-owned carrier Congo Airways has been grounded since September 11, 2023, due to an overload of financial debts requiring new state support and additional financing from an external international investor after a thorough reorganization.
   As part of these efforts, Congo Airways has now secured the wet-lease of one Boeing 737-800 from Klasjet allowing it to resume services from Kinshasa Airport.
