Oct 17, 2023 (newstodate): USA was a new market for the Faroese carrier Atlantic Airways in 2023 - and will return on the airline's map next summer as well..
   -We will definitely return services to New York from Vagar Airport again in summer 2024, with a roughly unchanged program and schedule, says Johanna a Berghi, Atlantic Airways CEO.
   -Both load factors and sales could admittedly have been better in 2023, but sales were opened rather late - only three months before the start of services.  
   -In 2024 our flights will be displayed on Sabre that is more efficient for sales in the US market than Amadeus, our prime sales channel in 2023, says Ms a Berghi.
   Atlantic Airways lifted off on its first scheduled flight with Airbus A320neo to New York on August 22, 2023, with a program comprising five rotations, ending September 20.
