Oct 27, 2023 (newstodate): United has confirmed plans for returning New York flights to Iceland's Keflavik Airport in summer 2024.
The carrier will be offering daily nonstop flights from New York/Newark Airport starting from May 24, 2024, resuming the seasonal service that was in place between 2018 and 2022 and slated to start again from May 12, 2023, but later taken off the schedule prior to launch.
The New York service will operate alongside the carrier's route to Iceland from Chicago since 2021.
All flights will be operated with Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
United performed its first seasonal flights between New York and Keflavik back in 2011, adding Chicago from 2018.
