Oct 02, 2023 (newstodate): The Polish cargo charter carrier Sky Taxi is building its air cargo capacity with new aircraft.
The carrier took delivery of its first converted wide-body freighter, a Boeing 767-200F in September 2018, under a contract with the US company Cargo Aircraft Management; a second was added in November 2021, and a third aircraft - the carrier's first converted Boeing 767-300F - has now joined the fleet, also leased from the American leasing company Cargo Aircraft Management.
Based at Wroclaw Airport and set up in 2000, Sky Taxi started out with operating passenger and cargo charter flights with a fleet comprising two SAAB 340 aircraft, but left the passenger flights market in February 2022, phasing out the SAAB aircraft fleet.
