Oct 20, 2023 (newstodate): Oslo Airport will soon see a new carrier on the platform: Dan Air.
   The Romanian carrier Dan Air will also add a new destination on the monitor: Romania's Brasov-Ghimbav International Airport, near the Carpathian mountain region.
   Earlier slated for launch by October 31, 2023, the opening flight is now scheduled for December 12, 2023, with Airbus A320 aircraft on the new route served once weekly during the coming winter schedule.
   The route to Oslo also marks the airline's entry into the Scandinavian market.
   June 15, 2023, saw the inaugural flight at Romania's new airport at Brasov-Ghimbav International Airport - the first airport to be built in post-Soviet Romania, and the 17th commercial airport in the country.
   With a fleet of four Airbus A320 Family aircraft, DAN AIR is today the only airline operating at the airport that comprises one 2,800 m runway allowing for operations by medium-sized aircraft including Airbus A320 and Boeing 737.
